I hooked these cables up to my Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop and my new Vizio 32" LCD HDTV. Excellent picture on the TV playing DVD's on my laptop as well as clear, sharp presentation of my desktop on the Vizio when using as a monitor. This is not a "plug and play" operation. Finding info as to how to get my laptop to output the signal to my TV took a lot of searching, but it's very easy once you know what to do.Customer Review: Good for nothing

Cable I received was an absolute bust. At first it wouldn't display colors properly on my monitor. After wiggling it around for a bit the color corrected itself, but then the computer couldn't detect the proper resolution of the screen. When using a Samsung cable, this was not an issue. Shipping costs more than the cable, so not even worth returning. Guess it's always a gamble when buying things this cheap.Customer Review: TV with no audio output

TV is great, but very disappointed that there is no audio output jack, I need to use earphones or add a speaker and there is just no way. There is a digital audio output jack, but none for tradional jack. Can't find anyone anywhere who has digital earphones etc. At least there are none out there for under $100 that I can find. Anyone know of any? Am hearing impaired and this is a real problem for me.Customer Review: You get what you pay for

Got this cable so I could use my monitor/HDTV combo as an additional screen for my laptop. It works fine for basic web browsing and such and the low price is a plus, but when watching videos (especially parts where things move quickly), the picture tends to break up. It's not entirely unusable but if you plan to watch movies or play games at all I'd recommend spending more on a better quality cable.Customer Review: Quality product..but this is NOT an extension.

This is a high quality product, but bear in mind this is NOT a monitor EXTENSION....it is a new monitor CORD....meaning it connects from your computer to the monitor itself. The monitor you are using this with will need to have a connector right on the monitor itself.
If you are looking for an extension, find one with a male connector on one end and a female plug on the other.
