Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Cables To Go 26911 DVI-D Male/Male Dual Link Digital Video Cable, White Connectors (2 Meter/6.56 Feet)Customer Review: Nice Cable - Works Great Summary: 5 Stars
After upgrading my computer's video to one of the high end card and upgrading my Monitor to a nice flat LCD (Norcent), I realized Standard VGA connection simply not doing the job. I am running Windows Vista Ultimate and display was getting analog connection (with a lot of visible lines). I went to some of the local stores and realized they are nothing but trying to rip people off. I got this from Amazon and right away my connection changed from Analog to Digital and awesome display. I simply love it. I probably would have loved it even more if the connectors were gold plated. But the way it is, does its job (very well, I should add).
Customer Review: Affordable Price, High Quality Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased a DVI cable for my new Gateway desktop. Comparable cables at Best Buy were more than 4 times more expensive. These cables were high quality--the connectors and knobs seemed beefier than those that came with my PC. Also, they arrived at my door in record time.
I have since purchased everal more cables from Cables To Go, including an optical audio cable and an HDMI cable for my home theater system. I have been just as pleased with these subsequent items.
Bottom line: If you want to save money, but don't want to sacrifice quality, buy these cables.
Customer Review: Mac Mini to RCA Scenium - Thumbs Up! Summary: 4 Stars
I was a little nervous about hooking up my Mac Mini to my 50" RCA Scenium (rear-projection DLP HDTV-ready), because a couple of days earlier I connected the Mini to my SGI 1600SW through the SGI MultiLink adapter, and got green speckles on the display whenever there was motion. But with the higher-quality Dual Link cable, there was no problem at all.
Unfortunately, the Scenium has a significant amount of overscan, and MacOS X isn't really set up to exclude screen real estate, but both DVDs and TV signals (recorded through a Plextor ConvertX) are quite clear.
Customer Review: Good cable at a great value! Summary: 5 Stars
This is not rocket science, its cable science. OK? I've dealt with computer cables my entire working carer. If you chose to spend $50 to $100 for a monitor cable or any other computer cable thats for you to decide. I will put my cable up against yours any day and you want be able to tell the differance...Any cable any price...My neighbor just spent $90 bucks for an HDMI cable to connect his laptop to his TV. My cable cost $7 bucks. Who's the smartest?! But he said "its gold tip" Who cares?
These are good quality cables at the right price.
Customer Review: So far so good Summary: 5 Stars
Well, after trying this baby out, I honestly didn't see an improvement over VGA. I then made some research and noticed that it's hardly better than VGA. However, when I use my other computer with the VGA cable, I notice the difference. VGA displays these hard-to-see, moving lines like in standard televisions. Most likely because analog quality is like that, of course. Still, I don't think I want to move back to VGA, even though I know I can get used to VGA after a day or so again. The lines I'm talking about kinda disappear when you get used to them.
