I suspect that Cables To Go uses different suppliers for these cables, even though they have the same product number. Contrary to other reviews, my cable IS white and DOES work with USB2.0. Does what it's supposed to do. Works great with Belkin USB hub (I bought both together). USPS delivered really quickly. I have attached 2 1 TB each external hard drives and USB speakers (Logitech). Works both with Ubuntu and Windows. I have not noticed any speed degradation. I will recommend this!Customer Review: Love it! Saves my knees.

I have an older PC, where the USB port is in the back of the CPU instead of the front. I use a flash drive fairly often, and this way, I don't have to get on my hands & knees to plug the flash drive into the USB port. I just have the cable handy at the side of my desktop. Bought this cable to use with a 250 gb usb drive. It was enough to power the hard drive but not enough for windows to detect the drive. I ended up using it to connect a printer. Not recommended for connecting hard drives or for high speed data transmission. You get what ya pay for I guess.Customer Review: Does the job for a good price!

Not much to review about this simple an item! Bought it to replace a cheap extension cable that came with my wife's Flipvideo camera. It does the job and was a good price. It really doesn't get much use, so I can't say anything about its long-term durability, but I bet it will be fine.
