This is a simple stereo extension cable. It works well. I have experienced no problems so far. I use it to hook up headphones to my computer. I need the extension because my speaker setup uses the SPDIF connector on my sound card and there is no headphone jack on the speaker controller. So I have too hook directly into the back of the sound card, which is relatively far from my desk.
It gets the job done.

The only reason i bought these cables were because of the price. I got these at exactly the same time i got my new headphones (Sennheiser HD-555) and when using these, there is a slightly noticable drop volume. If you are just looking for an extension and don't care too much about sound quality, these are great for the price, but if you want to keep the sound as clear as possible, invest in some higher quality cablesCustomer Review: Works just like expected.

Very good deal for the money, as now I have longer headphones. I don't notice a drop in sound quality (I haven't tried connecting more than 1 together though). The one thing that stumped me for a bit was that you gotta use a little force when connecting the female part to an opposite male part. It seems at first that it doesn't connect and isn't deep enough, but force it in and it stays nice and snug. Great product.Customer Review: Very thin wire, but gets the job done

This product is definitely cheap because it is so thin. I'm sure the optical glass inside can break or the wire can snap easily. But at this price, why not just buy 3 to have some backups.

What can you say about an extension cord - it works. Used it on a 20 hour family vacation drive to share headphone sound from a DVD player to someone in the rear seat of our van besides two people in the mid-seat captains chairs - and it worked without a hitch. No static, no disconnects. Pure good sound despite all the tossing and turning you do on a trip that long.
