Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Premium HDMI v1.3 Cable (2M/6ft.)Customer Review: Better than expected Summary: 4 Stars
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
After reading some of the reviews I wasn't sure how this cable would function. Compared to some 1.3 certified cables I've used this cable is somewhat thinner. I found it had a good connection with my tv and receiver. Since the cable is lighter the weight of the cable itself does not pull so the connection remains intact. So far I haven't had any problems with it passing audio or video. If you have tight space in a component stand it will be easier to pass than a thicker cable. As long as the signals continue to pass without a problem then this cable is a good value.
Customer Review: Dissapointed in these cables Summary: 1 Stars
I decided to buy these cables after reading many reviews and also educating myself on just what HDMI cables are supposed to do. My first TV (A 50" plasma) I went in blind and spent 150.00 on a pair of monster cables. My second TV, (A 32" Samsung LCD) I decided to give these a try. Needless to say, after hooking them up, I was convinced I had beat the system and saved myself some serious money. About 2 minutes later, I realized that sometimes you do get what you pay for. Both Cables (One for DirecTV and the other for a DVD) cut out, flicker and pulsate. Needless to say these are on their way back. I dont know if I just got a bad pair. However you would think that at least one of them would have worked. I'm off to my retailer to buy some overpriced cables that work.
Customer Review: The best value of three HDMI cables I tested! Summary: 5 Stars
I just did a shoot out between this cable, a Monster 1000 HDMI cable and another sub $30 cable. I tested it with three sources...a Sony 350 Blu Ray, a PS3 and a Comcast cable box. The Monster cable was good, but more expensive. The other cable was cheap (but actually more expensive than this one), but washed out the colors and would occasionally drop the signal.
This cable was just right. Colors and video quality looked great for both HD and non-HD signals from the Comcast box. HD gaming looked incredible for playing Resistence 2, Gran Turismo and other games from my PS3. And watching Blu Ray on my Sony 350 was perfect, the cable delivered a very detailed signal. As for the cable itself, the connection was solid and the build quality was very good.
Customer Review: Works great! Summary: 5 Stars
I don't know exactly how to rate a cord....
I bought this along with a Sony Blu-Ray player for my father at Christmas and despite some initial fumbling on my father's part, the cord was hooked up and...well, it works. I really don't know what else to say.
It arrived in a timely manner, it wasn't roughed up and sealed in plastic packaging and it was cheap. It works just as well as its expensive counterparts (not that I expected it to function any differently) and the two-tone colors of the connectors complement the colors on the backs of the player and the television should any one bother to look back there.
Order this, get it quick and save a little cash. That's about it.
Customer Review: Great Cable, Great Deal Summary: 5 Stars
We bought three of these cables based on all of the positive reviews, and have been very happy with the results. We are currently using them for our XBOX 360 (the version with an HDMI port), our Tivo HD, and our cable box. The picture quality is superb. The cable is built very well, is HDMI 1.3 compliant, and offers astounding picture quality.
We're very pleased that it works with the XBOX 360. This cable is a much better deal than the Monster cables that will run you upwards of $100, and is also a better value than the Microsoft HDMI cable that they sell for $50/$60.
We would not hesitate to purchase this cable again and again. All we need now are more HDMI-enabled devices!
