I have a flat screen TV, but don't want to run home theater cables all over. I have a great computer speaker system (2.1) but the cable didn't have a matching output on my TV. This conversion cable did the trick. I especially like that it is short, as the existing cable was long, and the whole idea is to minimize cables. No brainer here: Less than $10 so I don't have to buy a new sound system.Customer Review: Picture is not of product!!

The picture is NOT the product. The one end is female, as the title says, not male as the picture shows. This is very misleading as I thought I was buying the product in the picture. Can't attest to its quality, as I have to buy another cable to be able to use this.
EDIT: I reported the picture as incorrect. They fixed it. The correct one is now posted.

I used it making a connection from the aux in jacks of my Home Theater to the aux 3.5 in jack of my laptop. I listen Ibiza Global Radio with a great quality despite that is an analog audio vs a digital one. I recommend this product for this hook-up if you do not have an HDMI out in your laptop or home computer.Customer Review: Cable for connecting speakers

I needed to run a DVD player through a home-theater type (Epson) projector, but the sound through the projector wasn't loud enough, and the set of computer speakers I had only had a headphone jack. I was able with this cord to go from the back of the DVD player to the computer speakers and it worked great!
