I purchased this product for a good friend of mine for xmas. We actually listened to it after she opened it. It sounds ok until you turn the volume up loud. Lower volumes sound great. When you turn it up there is a popping sound that distorts the sound.
This would be nice just for your office desk when you would listen to it with a lower volume. I was disappointed because all of the reviews say that it has a nice sound. Not entirely true. Or maybe I got a lemon, who knows.

I use it in my lab at work where I have no computer access. I had no idea how rich the sound would be, the bass is full, and treble is clear without being tinny. Of course, I am not comparing it to the more expensive models, but for the price I reccommend it. It comes with cables so you can play a cd player,any type of mp3 player, or even your laptop through the connection in back, or just set your ipod right on top, it has little plastic adapters for lots of ipod sizes.Customer Review: AWFUL

I bought this item, used it once with the docking connection and it was working ok, but when I wanted to turn it on the next day it didn't WORK! no sound! I had it replaced but again THE SAME THING HAPENNED! I can't still believe it! I'm very dissapointed, it's been the worst experience I've ever had with Amazon.. Don't BUY THIS! As someone said on another review... this item is cheeply made, so don't waste your money and buy something more expensive with higher quality.Customer Review: Good product for the price.

When I saw how cheap this was, I had second thoughts. I went ahead a purchased it, and it turned out to be a great little iPod dock and speaker. It actually gets a lot louder than I expected. It charges the iPod relatively fast. The only thing I didn't like about it- I was hoping it would have the option of using batteries instead of plugging it in, but it doesn't. I like my speakers. It is the perfect size for my desk and I feel like it is a good quality product especially for the price. I wish the on/off button was in the front next to the volume buttons. Because the button is in the back, and there is no power light, I sometimes forget to turn it off. However, I do recieve a nice clear, sharp sound and the volume goes pretty loud so I could use it outside of the as well. This would be a nice gift for someone.
