Bought it for a traveling companion for a recent trip to Japan and it performed perfectly. He owns an iPod touch and was very happy. Two-pronged plug removed the need for an adapter too. Charging is quick, and you can listen to the iPod throughout; much better than charging via a computer. Unless all your accessories must have little apple logos, skip the ridiculously-priced official AC charger and go with this instead.Customer Review: It didn't work.

What else is there to say? I plugged it into my Ipod and nothing happened. I tried a few different outlets, anda left it overnight- my ipod is still dead, and now won't work with another, Apple-brand charger either. When I emailed the seller I got no response. I've written it off as a loss but don't waste your time and money- just spend a little extra now, get a charger from a legitmate seller. It's worth it in the end.Customer Review: Great Value

I took a chance on this product, since the number of well-made, inexpensive iPod chargers available in the stores seems to have decreased, and I can no longer find one for what I am willing to pay. I was pleasantly surprised. While the quality of the connector is not equal to the quality of the one on the USB cable that came with the iPod, it does the job nicely. My son uses this to keep his video ipod charged over night. It's convenient because he doesn't have a computer in his room, and he can listen to it in bed while it's charging. I have heard other people have had problems with this product messing up their ipods, but we haven't experienced that problem, yet, and hopefully never will. I ordered this charger a full two weeks before I was moving out of the country for four months. I paid for expediated shipping for it to arrive in 1-3 business days. Two weeks later when I was leaving, I still had not received the product. I emailed them twice and they did not respond. I cannot rate the product because I have yet to see it. They did not ship within a timely manner which I paid for.
