I bought 2 of these chargers, one for me and one for my brother-in-law. His stopped working 2 weeks later, mine 2 month later (yes, it "just" stopped working one day). Based on my own experience I'll say that this charger will stop working 2-8 weeks after your purchase. You'll decide if that's acceptable and if you're willing to take the chance. I believe Apple's charger it's too expensive, and this cheap one just doesn't work (at least for me). I guess the best thing I can do is just keep charging my iPod through the USB port. this charger REALLY works... don't be fooled by the price.. i have to admit that i was doubting my purchase.. since the price for it was $0.01 !!! BUT it's great... a downside, when you're charging your ipod AND listening to it, you're ipod might freeze... no worries.. just disconnect and re-connect.. but don't listen to it anymore, unless it's done charging..
but the downside isn't even a bad thing... it works absolutely great and it's a great price... go ahead and save some money... buy it!

This is a great product that Amazon has offered. The price is right and fast delivery. So what if it doesn't have a official Apple logo. You can't find a better price anywhere, not even Wal-mart. If you own a Apple iPod, you need to have a A/C charger. The cable that comes with the iPod only works via computer. With this charger, you can charge your iPod and not worrying about your computer booting-up iTunes every time you connect the iPod (Yeah, I know you can default the application).Customer Review: An excellent charger

This IPod charger has really solved by problem. I like to sleep with music and playing my Ipod through a stereo with 4 others in my household, not a good idea. This charger and Cta Digital Portable Dual Speaker for Ipod has made it easier to solve the problem. I can keep my Ipod next to my bed without draining it's battery. The quality is fine, and the product is lightweight. However, when I plugged into the third Generation iPod touch I bought it with the following message appeared on my screen: "Charging is not supported with this accessory." A quick search online revealed that Apple changed their charging specifications for third generation iPod touch, rendering older charging accessories useless. However, it does work with first and second generation iPod Touches. Caveat Emptor.
