Customer Review: Easy to install in my new macbook pro alum

I purchased my macbook pro alum with the bare minimums and upgraded my 2 gig ram for this four gig ram myself. I am no computer geek but I found a video online that gave instructions as to how to do it. In addition I changed my 160 gig hard drive to a 500 gig hard drive at the same time. All of this for less than 200 dollars. If I had these upgrades from apple it would've cost me an arm and a leg. It's well worth it although it voids your warranty when you open the back.Customer Review: Wow.

I have a MacBook Pro... and it came with 2GB of ram.
I multi-task A LOT, and the 2gb was starting to choke up my system, and everything began to get slow.
I ordered this product (4GB)... and now I cannot imagine going back to 2GB. My computer is HAULIN' OATS now (that means its waaaay fast!!!!!)
I'll never go lower than 4GB now, on any Mac of mine. Love it!!!
Also, the installation was very easy.

I'm always pleased with Crucial products, so not surprisingly, I'm very pleased with my new RAM in my MacBook. The packaging Amazon used was just right, so my RAM arrived in perfect condition. As for this Crucial product, it's easy to install once you get past removing the MacBook's bottom cover. There are a bunch of tiny screws back there for which I don't have a screwdriver (not even in my computer toolkit), but an eyeglass repair screwdriver worked OK.Customer Review: Speed Freak

You can never have enough RAM. For the MacBook Pro 13, 8GB is the maximum, but 4Gb is sufficient for virtually everything a typical user would throw at it. This kit allows my machine to run as fast as it possibly can. Installation required a bit of a disassemble (not nearly as easy as the MacBook) but it was well worth it. My MacBook pro is running perfectly after a month of usage.
Great RAM for the price. Well worth it.

Two days after I bought my new Mac Mini, I found in amazon this great memory a great price. After installing the memory it works great, the basic memory was 1GB, now I have a faster 4GB DDR3 in my new computer. Iphoto runs great and fast, all the computer will fast now. The shared Video RAM went from 128MB to 256MB, you will see the difference when you upgrade the RAM memory. This is an essential upgrade for your New Mac Mini.
