This made a difference on my mac, was easy to install and worth the money.
I was having problems with choppy performance while multitasking on my 13" MBP. At any point during the day I may be listening to a hulu video or [...] music, sync'ing my iphone to iTunes, sync'ing iPhoto with eye-fi service while getting some work done in an Ubuntu VM, have work mail open in safari and google reader in chrome. My Mac used to get bogged down and require shutting down some of the apps and now seems to run much more smoothly.

I ordered this Crucial RAM after doing quite a bit of research on internet. Certainly, the Apple RAM was a costly option. I checked few others like Kingston and Crossair but they were out of my budget.
I was little skeptical about installing RAM in a $1200 brand new machine, but YouTube helped a lot. With the correct screw driver, it took me exactly 7 minutes to complete the upgrade.
I have been using my mac for 3 days now after the upgrade and no freezes or crashes.
Works great..!!!

I bought this RAM to upgrade a 2009 Mac Mini from the stock 1G to 4G.
Upgrading RAM in the Mini isn't for the novice, but there was nothing too tricky involved -- once I got the bluetooth antenna reattached and realized that I'd pulled loose a cable that prevented my sound from working. A little troubleshooting, and all was well again.
A RAM upgrade in these Minis is essential. I was running out of physical memory with 1G with the box under light load. 4G has made a tremendous difference!

I installed this in my 13" Macbook Pro (early 2009). It was a nice upgrade. Simple to install and worked like a charm. I've noticed significant increase in speed of doing simple tasks in parallel. I went from 2 GB to 4 GB and the difference in speed was noticeable when doing multiple tasks while watching a video or some graphically intensive application. Overall I'm very much satisfied with this pair or RAM chips. I've used Crucial in the past and definitely recommend it. They never let me down on quality.Customer Review: Got it. Short simple review here. Got the 4 GB Ram upgrade quickly from Amazon. The Crucial package was RIDICULOUSLY HARD to get the RAM stick out of the package without damaging it. Installed easy into MacBook Pro. Ran Apple Hardware Test a few times to make sure everything good, and is was. 4GB Ram allows me to keep more apps open simultaneously without paging to disk. But otherwise no immediate speedboost here. Want an immediate speedboost? Get an SSD Drive :\ (Ordered that too....)
