I got this as a gift for my brother. He is using Vista and I thought that doubling his memory would help the performance. It did make a difference but we found out that his version of Vista is 32bit, which will not recognize anymore memory than 3.5gig. If he had the 64bit version, it would have reconized all 2gig that was installed.Customer Review: Works Perfectly!

Bought this for a Dell Dimension 5150 to pump up my RAM from 1G to 3G. Had it installed in about 5 minutes. Noticed an immediate improvement as soon as it was in. I installed this in a Compaq with Windows Vista that originally had 1 Gig of RAM. The memory is awesome, but as with many computers, the installation was slightly cramped.
