I wanted a USB stick that I could carry an operating system (Linux) and files on. This Corsair 8GB stick came with excellent reviews in the trade press. Plus the price is low. It's small size (and usb cable, if needed) makes it easy to use. Both my Windows PC and my Mac found it with no difficulty. The speed of transfer is rapid. It's a great way to carry one's backup. I have one quibble and it's so minor as to be irrelevant: the cap is just a push on sleeve which means be careful so you don't lose it. If it had a click push on it would help. When my IT support guys saw it and heard the price, they all went online immediately and ordered one. Excellent recommendation!Customer Review: Very good

I like that the cap fits tightly. Also, the device does not come with a bunch of extra software that I don't need. The speed is very reasonable.
The TrueCrypt software on the device does a very good job of encryption. But, it is a bit obtuse to set up.
What could be improved:
- I carry my USB drive on my key chain. I would like it if the keychain loop was reinforced rather than just being a rubber loop.
- The cap fits very tightly, but I prefer the retractable stype better. Sab Disk does this right, but their devices have too much junk software for my taste and the keychain connection is just plain poor.

I had a Cruizer Micro before this, what a piece of junk (plastic broke appart and internals stopped performing during regular use). This flash drive is by far the best one I bought so far. I didn't get the GT version because who can't wait an extra minute to upload pics or programs? The only issue that I have with this thing is the rubber cap feels like it might not stay on over time (just don't put it on your finger and play with it like I tend to do, haha), and be cautious of putting it in a pocket full of lint, it's hard to clean without using water. Other than that, I'm very satisfied and would recommend it to all my friends (3) lol.Customer Review: Great performance, amazing value, very useful!

Wow, the fast pace of technology. I was looking to upgrade my old 256 mb stick and now I find 64 GIG flash drives. What could you be possibly moving??? I bought the 8 gig version because I felt it was the most price efficient, and I am VERY happy with it. Fast write speeds, good build quality, comes with a lanyard, all the space I need for the purposes of a flash drive. Nice rubber feel to it, however a WARNING: the case is convex rubber; sometimes it is hard to fit into a USB port if there's other peripherals nearby. Sometimes I have to "squeeze" it in between other USB peripherals. With that aside, excellent product for a great price.Customer Review: I hope you don't mind a dirty, capless flash drive

This thing works pretty well. However, the rubber cover attracts a lot of dust, which is pretty much impossible to get off. Also, after you use it for a while, the cap becomes loose and falls of by itself. I was very careful with it, but I still lost it because it just fell off somewhere.
Other than that, the drive is fast and reliable. It's not really portable, compared with other USB drives these days, and it's not as durable as the rubber layer might have you believe (there's no other housing under the rubber except the drive). In terms of performance, this drive is pretty good, but I would recommend another flash drive.
