I just received two of these cartridges. The first one appears to be working fine. My concern is that while it certainly appeared from the product description that this was a Brother cartridge, I can't tell if is a third party cartridge or was made by Brother. There is nothing on the box to indicate that it's an OEM cartridge. I'm not a fan of off-brand cartridges so probably would not have bought this had the description been clearer.Customer Review: Defective TN360 replacement print cartridge

I ordered a print cartridge for my Brother printer to have on hand when I needed it. I did not open it when I received it. When I needed the cartridge, I opened it to find that the cartridge had leaked during shipping. It was past the 90 day return time for replacement, so the company would not replace it.
I'm sure the company's products are good, but learn from my mistake. Inspect the product when you get it.

I bought the TN 360 High Yield black toner cartridge in July, 09. It is a mistake. I thought that Amazon is a big company and bought the Brother TN 360 High yield toner from it. WRONG! It only printed less than 100 pages and low toner sign appeared. I thought it was a mistake. I went into the menu and print the whole thing. Yes, the toner is low. Please do not buy this toner from Amazaon. I am looking for other sources now.Customer Review: As Expected

Toner Cartridge works as expected. Remember to extend the life of your cartridge by covering one of the "windows" on the side of the cartridge with opaque tape. The printer will shut down when the electric eye is not blocked by the toner level. On my last cartridge I printed more pages after the eye shut the printer down and I covered the window than I did before it shut down. This significantly reduces the cost per page.Customer Review: Price and convenience

Although I rated this product down for noise, I'm not sure that is fair. My Brother printer produces a squeeky noise while printing. Could be the printer itself, or something about the toner, although the toner cartridge is factory-authorized.
I bought this product based solely on price and convenience. My local big-box office supply store is several miles away and charges more, so I save a trip and money.
