The Brother "TN360 High Yield Black Toner Cartridge" works perfectly in my Brother HL-2140 Personal Laser Printer. I like Brother printers (we have four) and like to stay with the brand name toner since we have had issues in the past with some 3rd party cartridges.
The high yield cartridge last so much longer than the "starter" cartridge included with the printer and the print quality is always very good.

I HAD BOUGHT THE SAME THING FROM OFFICE DEPOT FOR $76 (IN CALIFORNIA)
ALSO THE SERVICE FROM AMAZON.COM WAS EXCELLENT
ONLY ONE PROBLEM - THE PACKAGE DID NOT HAVE THE MODEL NO OF MY BROTHER LASER PRINTER. BUT I SENT AN E-MAIL TO AMAZON FOR CLARIFICATION AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT I COULD USE IT. AND IT DID !!

I purchased a 3 pack of these to save some money. I wish I had gone with OEM b/c I ended up losing in the end. The first cartridge was ok for a while, then I started to notice spots and streaks on my pages. I opened the printer up and noticed the toner was shedding ink dust. I replaced it with toner #2 which was in storage, and this toner was even worse. It sheds and splatters toner on the pages. I contacted the seller to exchange the the toner, but they said there is nothing they can do b/c I am past the return time period. Brother HL-2140 printers are used where I work and in my home. The boss told me to purchase a third-party toner cartridge even though I had told him about the problems we've had with knock-off cartridges in the past. A week after installing the cartridge in the printer at work it completely failed - seems like the cheap cartridge leaked toner powder all over the inside of the printer.
I used to buy the cheaper cartridges but not any more. This cartridge was reasonably priced, arrived quickly, and I have had absolutely no problems with it.

The toner cartridges were advertised as "OEM Brother". These were "compatible cartridges". They did not yield the 2600 pages stated for the Brother TN-360 High Yield Toner Cartridge. I recommend that this company be dropped from your network of recommended establishments offered to your customers. I will never do business with this organization again!! Also, the cartridges began to "smudge" and show a deterioration of print quality--long before the end of cartridge life! I never have had this experience with an OEM Brother cartridge!
