This drum assembly worked well when I installed it. Counter reset instructions were clear and correct. It was the complete drum assembly, including the surrounding structure, not just the photo sensitive cylinder. Although I am not able to document such, I feel the life of the product was considerably less than a new OEM unit, at which time the toner began to smear from the black portions onto the clear areas. Still a good value for what I paid. I disassembled and inspected the unit. It appeared that the plush strip "brush" that removes the excess toner had worn down beyond its usefulness. Original OEM units can be refitted with a replacement cylinder a couple of times. This was not the case for this unit.
It might be worth noting that I also use reloaded toner cartridges. After first replacing a toner cartridge, the smear remained until the drum assembly was also replaced.
As far as dealing with the supplier, I have no complaints; I think they performed as expected.
