My last Brother fax ( a higher end model) just stopped working. Can't find anyonme to work on these so you throw it away and buy a new one. I thought I would stay simple and bought a 575 but it jams continually and my biggest problem is only 1 out of 10 faxes sent goes through, it keeps disconnecting. My phone company says they have compatability problems with Brother (Verizon) so I am returning this for a higher end model again. I guess you get what you pay for. Don't buy this or any Brother product!!!!!Customer Review: Prized Performance

This little box of joy is an excellent fax machine that does a lot for its price. The Fax-575 can be configured to also work with an answering machine. That's pretty good because I don't want to decommission my answering machine now that I have a fax machine. It also doubles as a monochrome scanner and the quality could be set. It has a small footprint. Small, light, and compact. The console is pretty easy to figure out, too. It also comes with a 30-page ink cartridge. A must have for the home.

I bought this fax machine early 2007, and found it perfect for my occasional need to receive or send a fax. Was very easy to set up and worked correctly first time used, even my father was able to receive a fax for me while I was out and it went well(and he doesn't like machines).Once it printed poorly but may of been phone line because other wise it printed nicely.It does seem to work slowly but I didn't pay alot for it either, works excellent for the low cost of machine.Customer Review: A must 5 Stars
I bought mine from EXCELBRO. It was shipped and delivered in a few days. I was already familar with the product because one of my in laws had it at her home and I had used it many times. I got the product it was in excellent condition, it worked and had all the parts that it should come with. I was really surprised because of the price. Thank you so much EXCELBRO!!! I love it!!!! This fax machine is very unreliable. I used it mostly for sending faxes. Sometimes the faxes would go through without a problem. But more often then not, it would give me a "poor line condition" error message when trying to send multiple pages. So if I needed to fax mroe than one page, I would have to fax them literally one page at a time. This is frustrating and time consuming b/c then you have to dial for each page. I would not recommend this fax machine.
