I needed a replacement cartridge for my Brother printer. When I bought the printer, I read reviews that stated it was a good, reliable, reasonably priced one...all of which I was looking for for home use. The one drawback was cartridge price, but I figured I could live with that.
Amazon's price on the cartridge was $20 less then anyplace else I searched (for the same item) plus it was delivered with no charge.

I admit it: I'm a cheapie sometimes. So when I bought the "generic" toner for my Brother laser printer -- it broke the drum, just like the Brother Web said warned. And these printers are less expensive their drums, so I had to buy a new one.
This time, I got the real toner, and everything is working great so far. It wasn't *that* much more money (on Amazon, anyway) and will save a lot in the long term.

This is the second toner cartridge I have bought from Amazon and both were delivered on time and with no damage. If you need this type of item, get it from Amazon. They are hard to find in the big box stores and the free shipping makes the purchase easy (no traffic, no annoying clerks, saves driving around trying to find the item too). By the way, I bought the printer originally from Amazon also.

Have not had a chance to use the toner yet. Bought it as a package deal when I purchased my LaserJet. Checked out all of the major office supply stores before I added the toner onto the order and it was way cheaper to purchase it as a bundle. I will see if I can update this review once I have had a chance to use the toner. I decided to spend a little extra money to buy directly from Amazon -- not from one of the stores that sells through Amazon -- to make sure that I was actually buying a REAL Brother toner cartridge. Sadly, Amazon sent me a knockoff refurbished cartridge that didn't even make it to 2000 copies. Don't let Amazon's picture of the Brother TN-350 box fool you, they may send you a knockoff.
