Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Brother 26.2-Foot Black on White 1/2-Inch Labeling Tape (TZ231)Customer Review: Tape Summary: 4 Stars
This tape has evolved. It is thinner than when originally purchased and the tape release has changed.
Now you just fold the tape to release the liner and peel. The process is some what cumbersum and if you are not careful, your goind to have one heck of a time doing the release.
The tape functions properly in the Brother Labler.
Customer Review: Real Brother tape Summary: 5 Stars
The real thing in a Brother package for half the price of store bought.
And free shipping.
For those that don't know, this is "crack-back" tape. Just fold it lengthwise to split the backing and pull it off. No more worrying the edge to get the backing loose. I work with small(2-3 letters) labels, so this really helps.
Customer Review: handy to have Summary: 5 Stars
These, and their corresponding Brother label printer are a great thing to have. From the occasional labeler to the compulsive labeler and organizer, this is great to have.
My wife likes to label spices and foodstuffs, I like to label electrical plugs and AV equimpment wires.
Very nice to have.
Customer Review: TZ 231 Labels are so durable! Summary: 5 Stars
Even though this is the standard style of labels, the labels are heat and water proof because they are laminated. I labeled some of my kitchen spatulas and stuck then in the dishwasher and the label is still perfectly on, even through the wash and heated drying cycles. Overall a great product! :)
Customer Review: This is exactly what stores have, not the old tape Summary: 5 Stars
A previous reviewer said he got an old version, which didn't have crack and peel, a nice feature, but I just received mine (11/09) and it is the current version with crack and peel tape. Exactly what they had at Office Depot, but at Office Depot it was 29.95! Exact store packaging and everything.
