I have held off purchasing a GPS for my car because I did not want to mount a bracket anywhere in my new car. This dash mount/carrying case is the best thing to happen to GPS units. Not only is it stable, it has adjustable viewing positions, I can take it in the house when not being used and can transfer it to another vehicle. This GPS holder will sit firmly on your dashboard whiel you drive - or when you're not in your car it will close and hide your GPS from prying eyes. The cable from your lighter to the GPS goes right through the back and it's easy to set up the way you want. I bought several of these for our company. The product is of good quality and with the rubberized weight inside, this allows you to put it on the dash without it sliding around. We purchased the gps carry case. A great item for the car. It sits well on the dash and protects it when not in use. Can be carried anywhere. I already own one of these and like it so much that I bought two (2) of these for my girls for their GPS units. The cases are so much easier to use than window mounts, and make the GPS units completely portable. This is a great gift idea for anyone who isn't sure what to give for the holidays.
