Not only does it heve a heavy weight that helps keep it place but the case is nice to help protect it too. I searched every where after finding it a magazine and I found that right here was the cheapest place to get it. I had it within 3 to 4 days and I couldn't be happier. I didn't like the windshield mount that came with the GPS so then I went to the vent mount but when I saw this I knew this is just what I was looking for. I'm going to get a couple more and give them as Christmas gifts because they like mine so much.Customer Review: Perfect for me!

Although I didn't purchase this from Amazon I found that it is just what I needed for my MGB sports car.
Using a windscreen mount or a normal size removable dash mount with my Nuvi 750 is out of the question on my car due to space limitations.
It fits perfect on the console forward of the gear shifter.
Power is provided by cigar lighter through USB (yes, the USB can power it)and voice instruction is plenty loud enough.
I do recommend purchasing it here as I paid a little more.

I use this for travel, as I rent cars frequently, however, if you are going to fly with it, be prepared for delays at security. TSA will open your suitcase, take the Nav-Pack apart, check it over thoroughly and rerun it through the x-ray machine. Happens every time. Other minor gripe: the adhesive on the velcro strip is not very strong. In fact, the velcro is stronger. First time I went to take the GPS out of the Nav-Pack the GPS came out and the velcro strip stayed. I had to glue the strip on.Customer Review: DOES FIT 5" GARMIN

I very rarely do this, but I feel it is helpful. My 5" Garmin fits in perfectly. Very easy to take GPS in and out of house at night. Stays pretty secure on dashboard, but in a fast stop it may slide, just like others, but I use the handstrap and put it though one of my vents, now it can not go too far in a fast stop. This best suited my needs, easy transport, stays put and protects unit, what else can you ask for? I liked everything about this Nav pack, it's compact, has adjustable snaps so the screen doesn't glare, and zips up into a nice little pouch. However the glue that you attach the velcro adhesive to is useless. Anything over 68 degrees and that damn thing just slides right off. My passengers are always amused when instinctively I just grab my falling GPS and push it back into place about 10 times an hour. So I don't recommend for hot weather states!
