I bought this item thinking that it would not only provide me with a convenient way to store and carry my GPS from car to car, but also give me a way to mount my GPS without using the windshield. It works great as a case, but comes up short as a mounting device. However, the problem is caused by the fact that I condition my dashboard with a preservative that makes dashboard's coefficient of friction much lower. Quick accelertion or a turns results in the GPS sliding off the dashboard despite the internal weights. A good suggestion has been made to use a thin pot holder of sticky material underneath the case. If that works, that would solve the problem and I'd be very happy.Customer Review: handy little case

This case is really handy to have if your primary use of a GPS is when you travel or are not in your own car. I purchased it for whan I travel to visit friends and family around the country and have a rental car and have no clue how to get where I need to go. The bottom of this case is secure on any surface I've used it on. The adjustable tilt angle is really nice. The only part of it I don't like is it always causes alarm when I pack it in my carry on at the airport. It's not really the product's fault, but rather the airport security (which is probably a good thing). I puchased this from Amazon (verified) and have only used item for one long trip. It was great staying on the dash - did not fall off once. To use it as a carrying case is a pain and not very good at hiding on the person. I used an HP case I had from an old calc. Fits like it was made for the GPS and slips into pocket like case was made for the GPS. I would still buy it. With this downside, I would recommend purchase - and from Amazon (lowest price and excolent srevice). First unit was bad. Worked with Garmin tech support and determined unit needed to be returned. Amazon had new unit in my hands before I could get first unit to UPS.Customer Review: High Hopes

I thought the Bracketron Nav-Pack Dash mount/Carrying case would be the perfect device for my GPS because it was portable and fulfilled two functions. However, I have the smaller Garmin and it seems to be "lost" in the holder. Also, the device has to be on a perfectly flat surface or it will not stay. In my car, that is an area that blocks my clock/mph/outside temp gauge. In order to take it with you when leaving the car, you remove the weight device from the pocket of the case. Sounds easy but its not. Possibly if I had the larger GPS, a different model car, and gave it more time to get used to removing the weight, it would be fine.Customer Review: GPS Mount

This product arrived today as scheduled and no problems with the packaging. That is always a plus in my book! The product was as advertised and included easy to follow instructions and all items to mount my GPS were included.The quality and workmanship of the leather and stiching was very good. I would suggest to anyone considering buying this item that you would not have any complaints!
