Customer Review: A little flimsy on the vent & item could expand wider - reviewed with 4.3" gps

I have to say I am very impressed with Bracketron! I purchased both the Bracketron PHV-202-BL Grip-iT GPS and Mobile Device Holder (Black) and the Bracketron UFM-100-BX Nav-Mat GPS Friction Dash Pad [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging] (see the review on that) Very nice product and priced very well. This item is mounted in a 2004 BMW X5. I only gave the Grip it four stars, because it is a little flimsy mounted on the vent, especially with touch screen items, and today most are. It is more stable than most, because it has the foot at the bottom that sits against the bottom of the vent and helps keep it from moving. I have used it for my Nokia 4.3 inch GPS and when you touch the screen, you don't always get the results, if your not paying attention, because the device moves a little. You should not fiddle with your GPS while driving, but come on, sometimes you must.
The other thing that held me back on 5 stars, is the width, yes you can turn it, (and you have to for a 4.3 inch GPS), in the turned position the bottom and top access where the power plug, headphones and power button are, are blocked by the grips, but they thought of that - and you can move the grips from side to side to allow access. If it were wide enough for the 4.3 inch screen it would be 5 stars. I also have an Iphone and have not tried it yet, but it looks to me like it should be turned the other way for that to work well. I also like the way the gps, sits lower kind of out of sight on the vent, versus the windshield mount. I would buy this product again!
