I bought these 3 months ago and they were working fine. I loved them so much, they were comfortable on my ear. Then one afternoon for NO reason, one of the right headphone STOPPED working. I have no clue what happened and kept the utmost care for my headphone set. I feel jipped out of $180!
UPDATE:
Bose kindly replaced the headphones for me. But guess what? After a few months of use the headphones blew out again!! And I never blast the sound out of them ever!! I am never ever buying anything from Bose again. They sell defective products and should be ashamed of themselves!!

I purchased Bose Noise cancelling headphones, primarily for travel. The few times I used them, I really enjoyed them. However, they are bulky and take much room in the restricted space of a carry on bag. So sometimes I could not take them because there just wasn't the available space. Then I got a pair of these headphones in a promotion for test driving a car. I loved them. I found I didn't really miss the noise cancelling aspect as the music itself blocked outside distractions. And, these take up much less room. And, incidentally, are $200 cheaper! Treat yourself, you're worth it!Customer Review: High Quality Sound

These headphones are great, they put out better base than my bose companion speakers. The only gripe I have is the material seems a little weak. Although I've had no trouble with them the piece that goes over your head does seem cheaply made. However, I've dropped them numerous times by accident and they're still good to go. Another plus is the 3.5" headphone jack and cord. The cord is broken into segments. If you're like me and clumsy that's good. If you step on the cord while up and walking around you don't rip out the connectors, they just disconnect.

I have been using these at work for about 4 months now. At first the band was a little stiff and made the headphones a little uncomfortable. But after a while they broke in, and they are more comfortable now.
Overall, I think the sound quality is quite good.
+Pluses
compact, come with nice case that fits easily in my computer case, closed design-little sound leakage, decent sound quality.
-Minuses
expensive, I am sure you could find a better sounding headphone for the same money

Purchased this about 3 months ago and I've used them extensively with my Treo 680 both at home and in the ear (travelled to Europe and the Middle East). Absolutely no regrets. I prefer the padded ear muffs over the in-ear variety. Tried out the on ear at the store and purchased them immediately. They also work as a fully functional headset as it has a built in microphone.
