Product seems ok, but does not work as bundled with MicroSD card alone without a MicroSD to SD card adapter. So if are buying a MIcroSD card, and don't have a MicroSD to SD card adapter, this product is useless. If you have a MicroSD card adapter, this allows you to put your microSD card or SD card into a USB slot. I assumed this accessory product would work with main product I bought it with. I don't have all day to read exactly what a 6-in-1 adapter that comes with a microSD card does. I thought one of those six things would be to work with primary product it came with. I did not think I would need an additional intermediary accessory to make this accessory functional with the main product it accompanies. Sure, I could have read further, but I was mainly buying a MicroSD card. I should have read further, and so should you, SKIP THIS FREE OFFER. Just buy the accessory you need as a separate purchase.
But the main problem is deceptive practices such as this company engages in, should get disciplined by Amazon customers who have high expectations. This BlueProton company makes money by over, and I mean way OVER, charging for shipping. I think most customers would give them a fair rating if they charged a standard shipping fee and tacked on a reasonable charge for the product with a nominal charge for "handling" or something so they can make money. If the company did this, their rating on their products would greatly improve, as would their sales rank, along with the Amazon customer's general feeling of satisfaction, which would lead to greater sales volume, which would allow them to actually lower the price of this product, I mean lower the price of their shipping. This is simply the old trick of FREE PRODUCT, while the fine print says astronomical charges for shipping and handling, which you usually notice after pulling the trigger. The reason this little trick works is people don't pay attention to amounts and fees associated with small purchases, especially when the small purchase in an ancillary after-thought type of purchase, subordinate to something else one is focused on. This is after all an afterthought to people who are mainly focused on buying a MicroSD or some other type of card. I believe this company is capitalizing on the fact that people's attention is not on their product, or how much they charge for shipping. This product and company is not up to par with other Amazon purchase experiences. What if some company actually threw this product in the little box when a memory card was purchased?
