No instructions were included with the replacement charger. With instructions, I would have quickly determined the item would not charge my Sony W-80 battery instead of squandering hours testing possible configurations. I needed the battery charged for my camera so I could take holiday photos of my grandchildren while they were here. Timing, therefore, mattered. After a tech expert at a local Staples tested it with my battery and determined your charger is defective, I bought a different brand and it charged the battery in no time. Maybe someone packed the wrong item.
I would like to hear your explanation.
