I found the monitor to be relatively straightforward to install and configure, and it works as promised.
This point is mentioned in other reviews, but it bears repeating: The resolution of this device is only 0.1 kW (100 watts). If you want to scrutinize the finer points of your energy use in detail, this will be a problem.

bought 2 units both failed because of water in the sender unit.emailed many times and they know of the problem but are still selling the same design.ask them if they sell replacement parts because all I need is the sender board. no responce stay away from this product or you will be sorry you bought it.Customer Review: Electric monitor

Took about 30 minutes to hook up. After getting out my elect. bill, I figured how much I was paying per KW, entered it into the computer and everything was done. My 16 year old was able to hook up the sensor with no problems. I look at it all the time and change my behavior to reduce my power consumption. It's great for kids too. They love to have immediate reinforement to turn off the lights!
