It's practical to get an armband in order to use your ipod without making your hands busy holding it. Whan I saw Belkin armband for the first time at Amazon, it appealed to me since it has an extra pocket for your keys. But that pocket is really small and it's almost impossible to fit a key there.
Other than that, armband loses its tightness over time.These2 were the downsides of it,I think. It's practical,though.

It took three tries, but I like this one the best. I have larger arms, but it stretches nicely and fits comfortably. I can easily use all of the controls, even while bike riding (on a trail, not in traffic). I believe someone else mentioned this, but after working up a sweat, sometimes the Ipod sort of sticks to the plastic. But it is not enough of a problem that I would discontinue use. I think the product does exactly the job it does, its great, simple. I do not understand however why amazon could not ship to the uk. i had to spend extra money to have it shipped from my brother's in NY to home in the uk. I got the Belkin May 1, 2010. I had a half marathon race May 22,2010. Finished no problem with armband. Then 2 days later I was in San Diego out for a run and the complete plastic screen came off the band face with my Ipod hanging by the earbud cord!! Buyer beware, this is a bad design! Called customer service pasted the 14 day return policy and Belkin is very difficult to get ahold of. Lesson learned. :-)
