Customer Review: Do you sweat? DON'T BUY!

The first time I used this arm band, the velcro fell off the strap so the band could no longer be fastened. I then went out, bought a sewing kit and sewed it on. It seems like it originally used some glue that clearly dissolved when it made contact with sweat.
On my next run, with my newly reconstructed arm band, the see-through plastic cover that hold the ipod in place fell off and the ipod fell out.
I then threw this terrible product in the garbage, and went out to buy another 5$ cheapo arm-band in Chinatown.
What kind of sportswear fall part when it comes into contact with sweat? Horrific design design decisions, this company should be ashamed.

I bought this item 2 months ago and granted... I work out a lot, but in two months the velcro has completely fallen off and the arm band is now useless. yes yes, I know... what do I expect for $12! But wait... it doesn't end here... when you sweat with this thing on your arm, it basically turns into a humidifier for your iPod. Yes, it provides excellent humidity for your expensive little device, oh wait, we don't want our iPods to be stored in humid places! Yikes! All humor aside, I am now seeking a replacement for this - if only speck would make one of those plastic cases that snap into an armband for the iPod nano 3G - now that was an excellent arm band.Customer Review: Excellent way to carry your IPod

I was looking for an armband to use when running. This actually fills the bill perfectly. It's comfortable, holds the unit securely and is easily put on and off. It seems to be a very well-made item as well. The only concern I have is how well it will wash. If I have any complaints, it's the fact that to use any device that plugs into the bottom of the iPod you have to completely remove the iPod from the armband since there is no slot at the bottom. This takes some effort because the slot into which the iPod is inserted is small, and the plastic window tends to grab the iPod. But compared to the cost of standard iPod armbands, this can't be beat.Customer Review: works well for me!

Pro's:
+ stays snug on my arm throughout my workout (I know there have been some questions about the fit of it, but it works for me - my arm is not the hugest though)
+ attractive, sporty
+ protects the ipod
Con:
- a little tricky to get the ipod in and out of the armband(which you need to do to sync because the USB is not accessible when the ipod is in the armband)
- the velcro seems to be slightly unglue-ing from the neoprene at the end because that is where my armband gets creased when it's flattened to fit in my bag
Overall I think it's a good product.

I needed an arm band for my workout at the gym. Belkin Neoprene Armband is very light, feels very soft and fits great. It does not slip my arms. I'm 5'4" and little more than 100 lbs. so no worry for being too big. Only thing that I don't feel comfortable that slit to insert ipod is at the bottom while I'm running, so I wear is upside down. No extra holes necessary since the slit serves the purpose for recharging/hold button/earphone. Anyways, I love this and it's very comfortable. Also, this is the best price I've seen for an reliable armband.
