I bought this case for my 160GB iPod classic because I liked the look. I take my iPod everywhere - in my purse, my backpack, my pocket. Very soon after I started using this case (maybe 2-3 months) I already noticed leather around the corners wearing away. Doesn't look good but also doesn't affect the effectiveness of the case. After about 9-10 months, though, the little straps that hold the iPod in on the bottom are almost worn away. One is broken and the other is frayed to the halfway point. It protects my iPod from my purse or backpack very well, but I will have to buy a new case because this is almost completely worn at the bottom. Dust and other stuff can still get in, but it provides good protection. I dropped my iPod many times (once from a height of 6-7 feet), and the case did its job of protecting the iPod. I had ordered this Ipod case from PC Universe and received the wrong item. This is understandable and can occur. I contacted the seller via Amazon and had asked for the proper item to be sent and I in return followed their return instructions. It had taken 14 - 21 days of silence before I had to contact PC Universe to inquire about the status. During this time I had a death in my family and my thoughts were clearly diverted. PC Universe first replied back honoring my refund request but for much less money then was paid for this case. They later corrected themselves and are planning to refund me the correct amount of money. I honestly will say STAY away from ordering from this company and take the time to visit a local retailer who carries Ipod cases. It will save you much aggravation. When my iPod Classic arrived I realized very quickly that I was going to need a case for it. After reading the reviews I settled on this cute little pink one. It works perfectly.
It is a little bit loose fitting now that I've had it about a month. The pieces holding the fold together are fabric and I think they have stretched a tad. But it's no biggie.
The plastic piece that covers the screen seems to scratch rather easily but over all it's not very bad. I'll leave it until it's badly scratched if it reaches that point I'll snip it out.
At any rate this case is stylish, it protects my iPod, keeps pesky fingerprints off.

A great solution for my dilema. I bought this cover for my Ipod nano and no regrets. Then I bought it for my 60G and loved it. Then my wife saw it!!! You can imagine the rest... Her 80G needs a cover... AND IT COMES IN PINK! Like I mentioned on my previous review of this cover: "Good choice. It fits the ipod very well. It gives a profesional look and full protection. Once you open the cover the ipod can be easily slide in and out from the side. The closure is velcro. Not bad, but I prefer the magnetic closure of the nano cover. Size does make a difference so I guess that is why the velcro. The cover permits access to all the features of the ipod. I recommend it!"Customer Review: A Cheap Lil Buy

It's not a terrible product, however it fails to serve it's ultimate purpose it was created for. The leather faded pretty quickly and bruised easily. The case isn't secure enough so penetration of objects such as keys, credit cards, etc is highly possible, which will scratch your ipod (minimally). It is pretty flimsy too--if you drop your ipod, you may be done for. The case is pretty cute--I'll give it that. It's a decent purchase if you are looking for something economical and simple. You are better off buying Belkin's Reflect Case.
