My MX5000 laser mouse by Logitech works just fine with this mouse pad.
It is hard to believe the naysayers when they state otherwise.
Product is first class and every bit as good as the old Gel-eez that it replaces.
Also bought the Belkin F8E263-BLK Wave Rest Gel-Filled Cushion Wrist Rest Pad to go with the keyboard. Glad I did. Now I can rest both elbows on a comfy cushion. :-)

This is my second Belkin gel mouse pad. I started using the first on back in 1998 and it's been great, but it finally started wearing out (10 years of daily use is not too bad!) I had no doubt about what kind to get this time. I have very sensitive skin and a lot of pads are too rough. I love the silky feel of this one. The wrist rest molds to the shape of your wrist and hand for a custom fit. I love it!Customer Review: Very nice product.

I purchased this mouse pad to replace an old worn out one that also had wrist support. This one is a lot more comfortable then my old one (I use this thing 8 hours a day). The wrist support is a somewhat firm gel. It is soft and cushiony, yet very supportive and comfortable. If you use a computer as much as I do, and notice pain in your wrist, then you need wrist support, and this one is a great choice.Customer Review: Very Satisfied.

I've bought so many of these for many different applications for probably around 10 years now and I love em'. I still have a few that are at least 8 years old, if not older and they are used daily. Highly recommended. I must say however, that I use this as a base for a plastic laser mousepad, or I'll cut the wrist-rest part off entirely and only use that when the tracking surface goes south.Customer Review: Very good for Laser mice only

I have a laser mouse and optical mouse. I primarily use the laser mouse, and for it, this mousepad is fantastic. Although its a tad small, it has fantastic precision and comfort.
On the optical mouse, however, it is incredibly difficult to use. The mouse can barely track on it at all.
However, if you're using a laser mouse, I would recommend this mousepad.
