Customer Review: Nice Quality but the RCA Plugs Are Slippery and Too Short !

Great build quality! Nice and sturdy... but... I can only give them 4 stars due to the poor design of the plugs.
PROS:
24K Gold Plated connections to ensure maximum contact and signal transfer
Copper braided jacket to reduce interference and ensure consistent signal quality
Aluminum Foil Shield to optimize signal integrity and further reduce potential for interference.
Seamless jacket molding from end to end.
CONS:
Poor design of the actual cable end fittings. The problem is both the RCA plugs and 3.5mm jack have a "slick" brushed aluminum outer shell. The finish is super smooth and offers no "grip". When you grasp them and try to pull them out they can slip between your fingers. Most plugs of this type have a rubber coating or a knurled finish that provide grip or traction so they won't slip from your fingers when pulling them out of your equipment. The other problem is the area where you would grasp the plug to remove them (pull them from your equipment) is REALLY SHORT! The barrels are only 1" in length so when they are plugged into your receiver you have almost no room to grasp them to pull them out. With no room to grab on and the slick polished finish on the barrels the only way I can remove them is to pull on the cord! (A really poor way to remove any cable). I purchased these so I could plug my MP3 player into my receiver but I have a feeling they aren't going to last very long if I keep yanking them out by the cables. I'll also be sharing a photo of the plug (showing it plugged into my receiver) so you can get a better idea of the issue I'm describing.
