Customer Review: Wow, I Could'a Built My Own

Well, the product roughly does what it says; it keeps the laptop off of your lap. However, for the amount of money I purchased mine ($20) I could have found a cheaper alternative that does the same. Really, for ten dollars I could have bought a firm pillow and used adhesive to form a hard plastic surface...then I could even eat off of it.
The product does as it says, but is not nearly worth the price given; my suggestion is to wait until you see one under $15. Especially because it doesnt provide "special ventilation".

I like it, but I did needed to buy an Antec USB-Powered Notebook Cooler to place on top of it. It is stable, comfortable well-made which makes it easy to transport my computer from place to place in my home. Great stable surface when working with a my computer in my lap. Too big for mobile everyday use away from my home, however I will probably take it with me on most extended trips. I just don't see how it can cool a computer since it covers the bottom of my computer vents and restricts air flow. My computer got warmer.Customer Review: Light and Sturdy

I was a little surprised when I received this product because I thought it was going to feel as soft as a pillow. It is actually sturdy enough so that the laptop won't sink when you put it on top thus allowing for proper ventilation. It is also very light and provides the right height when you put it on you r lap so that you don't have to tilt your head down as much. The materials feel of good quality to the touch. In my opinion this is a great product and I am planning on getting a second one for my girlfriend.Customer Review: Great cush top I loved it!

I bought it for my husband as a gift. He was always complaining about laptop overheating his legs. It's very practical, firm but lightweight. I like how it works with my 17" notebook. It seems unable to get dirt or dusty so it's always clean and colors look like day one. I stated using it while working in bed and it gives me great positioning. My husband also used it on his desk to level up the laptop so screen is higher and works fine, gives a good height. i like doing work in front of the tv, so this has been a great accessory. i used to use pillows, but that would make my macbook pro very hot since the heat couldn't dissipate. i have a 15", and felt like the larger surface area props it up better. the angle works well with longer use and my laptop doesn't slide off easily. it's obviously not gonna cool your laptop like stands with fans, but it works well considering what it is. plus, amazon offers it at a great price. go for it!
