I love the idea of this for travelling so I picked one up about a month ago. The size is OK if a bit bigger and heavier than I was expecting. The real issue is with the USB charging ports. They charged my iPod Nano and Touch fine but will not change my Blackberry 9700 or iPad. This is a real shame as to me the USB ports for charging was it;s biggest draw. I bet it would have only cost Belkin about a buck more to have upped the power to the USB ports too...Customer Review: Very handy for charging cell phones and adding extra outlets

This is the third or fourth Belkin mini that I have purchased. I am currently using two on board the ship and they help reduce some of the cable clutter from my desk top. I have given several away as people that see it in use always ask about getting one for themselves. The plug swivels so it can be used vertically or horizontially, or obliquely. Also nice for travelling as it saves the necessity of having two chargers and adds a couple of extra outlets.Customer Review: Warning--Does not work with all phones

I have tried two of these Belkin surge protectors/USB chargers and they will not charge my Verizon phone. The phone gives an error message and refuses to charge. After some research, I found this is a known problem with CDMA phones. The unit does not provide enough current to charge these devices. Shame on Belkin for advertising this as being able to charge cell phones, which is the principle reason I bought it. Belkin tech support was useless here.Customer Review: Very useful, even if you aren't travelling very far

I don't know about what heavy-duty users might need, but I've found this product to be excellent for my own purposes. Normally, when I use it, I'll plug in just my laptop, and maybe my 4th-gen iPod Nano. Once, I also charged my phone with it (not a smartphone). The way I see it, though, is more as a more useful iPod wall charger. Again, I'm not a heavy-duty user with oodles of gadgets, but it's a good product, and I highly recommend it.Customer Review: Great Item!

This is a great item it is small enough to use anywhere. My husband really likes the usb access on the end so he can charge his ipod and not have to use his computer. The cord which came with it also works with my motorola cell phone and will charge that. You can not get a cell phone charger from the dealer for less than this item. We like it so much I am going to order another one with my next purchase. Great product all around!
