Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Belkin Armband Case for iPod nano 1G, 2G (Black)Customer Review: Works great Summary: 5 Stars
This is exactly what I was looking for - a durable protective cover for my Nano that does not add much to its size or weight. I have already dropped my covered Nano once and I was glad that it was protected by this cover.
I haven't used the arm band that came with it that much because it is kind of a pain to attach and detach. You have to loop it through two slots on the back of the cover which is harder than it sounds. Since the Nano is so small, I normally just put it in either my pants pocket or shirt pocket if I have one. For those of you who would want to keep the arm band attached most of the time, I think it would work out great.
I highly recommend it whether you intend to use the arm band or not.
Customer Review: Nice Sleeve and Arm Strap Summary: 4 Stars
I recently purchased this sleeve and arm strap for my new 8gb nano (second gen). It's a nice sleeve and fits the nano pretty well. The arm strap is a stretchy material and the velcro is nice and strong and would fit a nice variety of arm sizes. The only problem I've had with it is with the small screen protector insert included. I think this may have been meant for a first generation nano or something because it is not the right size for the nano 8gb second gen screen. It is slightly too large so I ended up just tossing that. I'm sure there are many other places to get a screen protection insert so it's not really a big deal as that's not what I purchased this product for. All in all it's a solid purchase.
Customer Review: not exactly match fit for the gen 2 nano Summary: 2 Stars
This thing was slipping and sliding all over the place and I constantly had to readjust in so the functions were in place. The slot on the top that is supposed to allow you to use the "hold" feature is completely off so you end up having to stretch the thing over to turn it on and off. The little plastic protector that covers the screen would not stay in place over the screen and I was constantly losing it between the silicon cover and the ipod. I finally just gave up on it and returned it. I bought it because it is one of the only ipod accessories that has a fair price tag. I think I'll just get it over with and buy one of the more expensive options. Was this thing even meant for the Gen 2 nano?
Customer Review: sports sleeve weak, case great Summary: 3 Stars
Overall, a good product. The sleeve is uncomfortable; it could benefit form some padding of some sort. The stitching is fine, and the Velcro is secure, but the elastic material that the sleeve is made out of is uncomfortable. I find that the sleeve is either too tight or too loose. The case on the other hand is great. It is made of high quality silicon and protects the shell of the Ipod. It comes with two plastic screens to protect the display as well. The only negative is in the position of the portal that allows you to flick the hold switch. No matter how I shimmy the case, I cannot get it to fit totally over the switch. Luckily, the case is flexible enough to move aside and move on.
Customer Review: I liked the product despite its shortcomings Summary: 4 Stars
Simple silicone case and a comfortable band and its black. It does the job. Like couple of people who mentioned before it does come with a screen protector which you might completely miss if you are not looking for it. Its on the back of the cardboard ipod that is inside the silicone case.
The shortcomings were that the the sticker on the screen protector does not come off well. Hence leaving a portion of the screen protector with some paper and glue. It is very annoying and I ended up throwing it. The other shortcoming was that when you pass the arm band through the slit on the back the arm band scrapes the back of the ipod and and is in contact with it all the time.
