Customer Review: No Click...Plugs loosely

When plugging into my samsung hdtv plasma it didnt 'click' into place and felt loose. I also plugged it into my polk receiver with the same results. Although it seemed to be a solidly built cable all around, It just didnt feel right when plugged in. Im glad I also bought the amazon basics version of this optical cable because that one clicked into place when plugged into both sources. I think i'll stick with amazon basics.Customer Review: good product

So far works great. Using it to hook up z5500e's to a tv and needed this optical cable to get digital out. Only using those speakers for the tv until I make up my mind on what computer I'd like to put together. So far the cable works good, I've never had anything go wrong with any optical cable. I like how the ends are capped and the caps are attached to the cable themselves so you don't have to look around for them.Customer Review: Another solid Belkin product

This connects my DirecTV HD receiver to my component system. I have a couple of other brand name digital audio cables hooked in for my CD and DVD player, and cannot honestly determine if there's any difference in sound quality. The 6 ft cord makes it easy if you have a large entertainment center and a lot of distance to cover to connect to the component system. Given the reasonable price, I would recommend this cable.Customer Review: Works for less money

This cable works great. I have it hooked up between my DVD player and receiver. The digital audio is great. I've detached and re-attached the cable to other devices and haven't had any damage issues to the cable. I'm sure coaxial has the same audio quality. Just pick your cable based on what is available in your application and price. I bought this because it was cheaper than coaxial at the time.

This is a very good product and has worked well for me. Belkin is an industry leader and this product is a good example of their fine quality. I would recommend this product to others. Just remember when you install this cable that you need to orient the "plug" properly to fit in the jack. You will have to turn it until it fits in correctly. So take care when you insert the cable into the jack.
