Customer Review: This product is AMAZING!
Summary: 5 Stars

I love this surge protector! I'm currently using it for my home office, and 10 outlets is more than enough (most are still empty!). There's been some complaints about the remote not working from far away, but mine works great. I've only tested it from across the room, but there's no need to turn your stuff off from a football field's length away anyway. I also love that there's only two "always on" outlets. There's been some complaints about this as well, but if you insist on having more than 2 things on permanently, why buy an energy efficient surge protector in the first place? :) I will definitely be using one of these in every room of my house. Thank you, Belkin!

Customer Review: very convenient
Summary: 4 Stars

So far it works great and does what it says it should. The only gripe I have is that the switch feels a bit cheap and almost toy like. The switch works like a fixed code garage door opener so you can set it to work with multiple units as long as the switch code matches the base code. I have mine with my home theater and I was a bit worried that I would have to rescan the channels on my TV every time I turned it off but it turns out it was fine. Overall I would recommend this for home theaters and office equipment like printers, scanners and monitors that do not need to be pluged in all the time.

Customer Review: Great Product
Summary: 5 Stars

I just started using this product. I really like the remotes. I place the one for the computer and accessories on the corner of the desk. When I am done I just push the button and that is the end of wasted electricity. I haven't found a permanant place for the one for the tv, but I like the fact that I don't even have to find the remote for the tv, cable box etc. Just one button and everything is off. I will not be able to say how much I saved since this is a new place for me, but I did give a couple as a gift for Christmas and both have said they've seen a drop in their electric bill.

Customer Review: Expensive waste of money - did not work.
Summary: 1 Stars

This expensive strip is supposed to have a remote switch for the outlets that can be turned off. I see others have given this item good reviews, and if it worked, I'd be very happy, I think.

But it doesn't work - our remote switch does not turn on/off the power to those outlets. So this was a total waste of money, as we would have to climb behind our media center to turn off the power with the button on the surge strip.

We did have power to the remote, we did try resetting the jumpers on both power strip and remote - nothing worked at all.

Customer Review: Great concept...
Summary: 2 Stars

It's a really great concept, but the receiver in the strip stopped working after a few weeks, so the remote doesn't actually turn it off. And I wish it had three outlets that were always on, instead of just the two it offers. But I love that you can turn off most of the electronics in my home theater (Blu-Ray player, TV, game console, etc) while leaving on the few devices that need to stay on (DVR, cable modem).

I don't know how many others are having the remote problem, but I wish I had kept the warranty information so I could get it fixed!
