I needed a y cable to connect my laptop to my hdtv for sound output. I wanted a 25 ft cable to go with my hdmi cable but I was put off by negative reviews of the featured cable on this site. I am pleased with this cable, I think the sound quality is just fine. I did try fiddling with the jack that goes in the computer and was unable to make it come loose or distort the sound so its well made.Customer Review: If it's from Belkin, then it's good!

though this is just a cable, I'm very particular of its brand. I've been using belkin stuffs before and for me this brand really stands to it's principles. cables are cables and they almost work the same but sometimes quality and affordability makes a little difference and this is one of them. its performs well and fair same as the rest of other cables and for me that's good enough.Customer Review: Great product; Great price

This item just arrived today and so far it's serving me well. Now I have to get used to grabbing my stereo remote when I open WinAmp instead of reaching for my computer speaker's On button. I have trusted Belkin products in the past so I felt this product would be of good quality. I recommend this item to people that want to listen to MP3 audio on there stereo system. Oh my. another cable adapter. This time we needed to get from a laptop to the TV. Works fine. Wouldn't it nice to have a combination firewire + audio cable? Our laptop does not have HDMI so this is the way we hooked up the computer to the TV. Cumbersome but not the cable's fault. Maybe a bluetooth interface between the laptop and TV would work better.Customer Review: Works Good

Just got this today. I wanted to listen to music from my lap top to my 500w stereo system and so far it works great. The sound quality could be much more crisp but yeah I guess you get what you pay for. Overall it works, just what I was looking for.. simple and affordable.
