Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Belkin USB 2.0 4-Port Ultra-Mini HubCustomer Review: Excellent non-powered hub; always works Summary: 5 Stars
This little Belkin hub is great for a laptop with limited USB ports. I have a couple of input devices and a webcam (QuickCam 9000, also from Amazon) connected to my Belkin mini-hub, and the devices all work flawlessly.
As you can see from the picture, the cable that connects the hub to the computer is fixed. (This is convenient, though I sometimes wish it were longer, and since I keep my laptop on a stand, the hub ends up "hanging" down from the stand.) Though it was not clear from the picture, the hub actually has what seems to be a strain-relief connector at that corner shown where the integrated USB "cable" connects at the hub.
It looks great, is a neutral silver/black color and, in my few months using it, this hub continues to work superbly.
Customer Review: My Belkin USB hub arrived this morning. Summary: 5 Stars
I've already plugged in my AT&T wireless unit and Kingston flash drive. This leaves two empty slots on the hub and two USB ports still available on my laptop. This means I can keep both my scanner and printer attached full time and no longer need to plug/unplug them. The hub is so small and takes up hardly any room on my work table. It's well worth the small price I paid.

Customer Review: Excellent hub for airport extreme and MacBook Summary: 5 Stars
I am using this hub for connecting both a printer and USB hard drive to my airport extreme and it is working perfectly (one note of caution, my hard drive and printer both have their own power supply- I have heard that this non-powered hub will not work for connecting a non-powered hard drive to Airport extreme, but can't verify that)
I have had this product for over a month, with no problems at all, just plugged it in and it worked. Now I can print and back-up wirelessly with my new MacBook. Fantastic solution for such a low price.
I guess the only possible problem with this device would be its short cord, but it is actually a positive for the way that I am using it, because I don't want a large amount of redundant cord piled up.
Customer Review: After a few months, intermittent power loss Summary: 2 Stars
I bought this device 5 months ago and it worked fine initially. I use it for various printers and my customer display for my stores POS system. A couple weeks back I was having problems with the display going blank. I would have to unplug and replug the display back in and restart my software to get it working again. It would happen at least a few times a day. After a bunch of trouble-shooting we figured out that the hub was losing power temporarily and this is what was causing the display failure. So this product might be okay for something that doesn't require a continuous connection, but if you need it to be continually connected to hardware to make it run properly I would look for another usb hub.
Customer Review: Items received in new condition Summary: 4 Stars
Ordered several of these items as gifts for friends who are into electronics/computers. Received everything I ordered online through AMAZON.COM from the Seller 365USA in excellent condition and packed very securely and showing care for efficient delivery. Received the shipment Dec. 17, 2009 via UPS so delivery was as expected, if not sooner. UPS drivers were hurried because of Christmas rush I'm sure. Items were as advertised and were in new condition still in original packaging. I would definitely recommend this item as a good BUY. Am a well-satisfied customer of AMAZON.COM at this point. Keep up the great work guys/gals. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY, PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR 2010.
