So, I bought this surge protector because it looks nice, has lots of outlets, and guarantees protection, which I needed for my TV.
When I received it, I was happy and excited to try it out. I plugged in all my cords into my new Belkin Surge Protector, starting with the side swivel outlets. So far so good. But when I got to the middle outlets, the cords wouldn't fit. It seemed like the outlet is too small for the cord I was inserting. Thinking there might be a problem with the specific cord I was using, I tested the outlet with all the other cords I have; none fit.
So, instead of a 12 outlets, I got 8. Wack. But at least the 8 that are usable work well, I guess...

I like Belkin products, they are well made and this is no exception. The swivel plugs do make attaching multiple items easier especially with transformers and such though it doesn't totally solve the space issue, I think the plug liberators do that a bit better. But overall this works well and I trust the quality of Belkin to do the job on the surge protection. Quite frankly, living in the city, I don't use the cable or the phone protectors, never have and would not miss them. Also the cable organizer clip doesn't really do much for me, but for the primary purpose of attaching multiple devices, protecting the electronics and improving space utilization this product does the job for me.Customer Review: Surge protector of the apocalypse!

How does one geek out over a power strip? Let me count the ways...
1. Have you forever been frustrated with only using "some" of the outlets on your power strips due to the blocking size of most power adapters? This baby features adjustable, rotating power plugs so you can use EVERY SINGLE socket there is here. Never have I seen the like. You can plug in anything to this!
2. Well made, sturdy, solid made to last. I have 2 of these.
3. Grounding lights and other indicators a-plenty.
4. Cable wrap bar to keep people from kicking cables out.
5. 12, count 'em 12 sockets! And you can use every single one by adjusting them.

I was looking for a high quality compact surge protector that would fit either behind a wall-mounted flat screen HDTV or under a shallow shelf that my DVD Player, Cable Box, Etc. sit on. I wanted to be able to eliminate as much "cord-clutter" as possible. This unit fit the bill perfectly.
I have only used the swivel plug recepticles on either side, and as some other reviewers have commented, it DOES take more (but not a LOT more!)than normal pressure to insert an electrical plug all the way into the receptical. But once in, there's little chance of a loose connection!
The swivel plugs make it easy to use and save space, which is exactly what I wanted.

The Belkin Pivot-Plug Surge Protectors is an amazing product! This thing well exceeded my expectations in every way. Not only is it a major convenience when it comes to a much needed supply of extra outlets & safeguarding your devices but it's also attractive albeit somewhat bulky. The Belkin PPSP is a marvel of form and function and every single time I speak about or show it to anyone they immediately want one of their own! The design is ingenious and the extra features, while frivolous for some will prove to be an absolute necessity for others. Overall it is a must have and a great buy for any home. It will make you wonder why it isn't in every single household.
