As you've read from the other reviews, this isn't as "mini" as you would hope, but given it has three outlets, not sure how much smaller it could be.
Reading some of the other reviews, some people don't seem to realize the prongs can be rotated to allow the plugs to be different orientations.
I always seem to end up in meetings where outlets are scarce, so this device is worth it for that, plus hotel rooms that only seem to have one convenient outlet for my laptop, iphone, etc.
So if you can spare a little room in your travel bag, this device is well worth it.

Well I bought the wall mount a few weeks back and I am happy with it.
It can swirl around and can fit into any socket plus it is handy and when you are not using it there is a cover for the prongs that you can use.
I recommend it to everyone as it can charge my blackberry ad ipod together and can also keep my laptop safe from surges and not just this it also give me more out of my single plug outlet.
really goo to use when you are somewhere out like star bucks or libraray where you are not sure about the sockets and the surges
Then it is inexpensive as well ($ 15)

I bought this because my boyfriend and I both have iPhones and we are often selfish over the usb plug on the bedside table. Two ports was exactly what we needed. It was kind of a bonus to me to get the surge protector, which definitely works (although we don't have anything like a television plugged in). Generally we use this for the lamp, our iphones, and occaisionally a lap. It's not terribly small and doesn't allow you to use the other outlet if you are using the USB ports. I kind of figured this though, and accept that in the end I have more outlet which are protected than I started out with.Customer Review: The answer to my iPod touch charger dreams

When my entire family bought ipod touch 3G's to replace our earlier generation ipods and nanos, we found that every charger we owned was incompatible with the newer devices. We tried our car chargers, iHome stereos, etc but nothing would charge it except a PC with USB cable. We bought some other chargers online and at the mall that claimed to work with ipod touch 3G but they were also a disappointment. This Belkin charger worked like a charm on our ipods and we can also use it with 3 of our phones that use USB cables for charging. I purchased this to replace the bulky travel adapters that I use for a multitude of gadgets and it fits that role very well. Although it is a little larger than expected, it has still reduced the amount of bulk that I carry. Charges my iPhone very well using the standard cable and I have purchased a few other usb cables for charging as well so devices like my Kindle and PSP can both charge from it as well. It's also nice to have the extra outlets in a hotel room that is stingy with such things. I would like to see USB ports for charging added to more devices in th future.
