After my phone's wall charger stopped working, I had to keep plugging it into the computer to charge it since I was too lazy, and too cheap, to go and buy a new one. I saw this and bought it, and I'm really happy! It's a great way to charge my ipod and my phone nightly, without having to use the computer. The only downside I can think of is the price, but then again I don't know what other, similar ones are worth.Customer Review: Great Travel Surge Protector

I've been using this surge protector for the past two months while traveling in Thailand and I love it! I can connect three things to it using power cords and then I have my ipod and cell phone connected through the usb charger slots. Very convenient.
My only complaint is the size. It's bigger than it looks on the web and could be easier to pack if it was a bit smaller, but not bad.

While this works great for the intended purpose, the person who designed it needs to have applied a little more brain into the design of this. When plugging into a typical 2 outlet wall unit, you either have to sacrifice the usage of USB ports or sacrifice the second outlet on the wall altogether. If only the USB ports were on the side or at the bottom of this unit, this may have been more useful.Customer Review: Wonderful Mini Surge Protector

This is a wonderful surge protector! I got it for travel and it's wonderful! I can plug in my ipod with out the big block charger and it has enough ports for me to plug in my laptop compter and my phone charger and not worry about it getting zapped in a storm or having enough plug ins at a hotel. It also rotates to make space if necessary which is quite convienent. All in all a very good product!Customer Review: Not so good if you are charging two USB things and one is an iPhone/iPod

It appears that if you plug two things into the USB charge ports the device switches back and forth between them. What that means is that if one is an iPhone/iPod you'll hear the "Charging" beep every few seconds. That would probably happen with anything where it beeps when it starts charging.
If the phone/pod is the only thing plugged in then it works just fine.
