Customer Review: Disappointing hub

I've had several problems from this hub. If I move it in the slightest, all my devices are disconnected from my computer and the hub is no longer recognized. I thought perhaps I was overloading it, but I still have tons of problems with it only connected to my printer (that is always off) and my Droid's USB cable. Construction of the hub is very poor as well. No USB cable seems to fit the hub properly. Every cable has quite a bit of play and is easy to disconnect. The hub also can't power or charge any devices with my computer turned off, despite it being plugged into AC power. Overall, terrible quality. I've been in the tech industry for years, but I guess I can no longer trust Belkin to provide a decent product. If it were more expense I would have pursued a return.

Wow, this (little in size) thing works really well. I use a USB plugin called MagicJack which is "Internet Telephone" and it was stopping and restarting several times a day on my laptop. One of the fixes recommended was to "try" a powered USB hub. Apparently my laptop with a USB mouse and USB CD just didn't have enough USB stability. With 7 USP ports available I also put a USB external speaker and my MP3 player on at the same time. I have not had a single problem with my Internet Telephone (or anything else) after a week! I was able to remove the laptop docking port because of the extra USB jacks available. I just purchased another hub for the 2nd computer (I'm a nerd). Now I can buy more toys for those other two unused USB jacks.Customer Review: Can't rate a product that never arrived...

I ordered 3 items from 3 different Amazon vendors from one shopping cart, all to the same address, to which I have had items delivered recently. Two items arrived promptly & have functioned as promised. This item, from ANTONLINE, never arrived. The USPS online tracking showed it bouncing across the country for 3 weeks, before I followed up with ANTONLINE and found that somehow this package had been misaddressed. They claim they'll refund my credit card once the shipper returns the package to them. Somehow the online tracking works but the address label on the package is unrecoverable? It appears ANTONLINE screwed up my address (since the shipper got the other two orders correct). I will not shop with them again.Customer Review: Power Cable is Far Too Short

I understand that I'm not adding any new information with this review, but it really bears repeating: the power cable on this hub is so small as to be useless for most applications. If you keep your power strip on the floor and your computer on your desk, the power cable will not reach. It will not even come close. Using a 2' extension cord, I'm able to keep this hub perched on the back of my desk, where the weight of its own power brick threatens to pull it off of my desk and onto the floor.
Had I read these reviews prior to purchasing this, I would not have bought it. If you envision this being a problem for you, I advise you to think twice about buying this hub.
Customer Review: Doesn't work - and they won't replace it

I purchased this for my husband for Christmas. It has never worked since I opened the box. I contacted Belkin at least 5 different times. I received a response to change the cord etc. I tried everything they suggested and none of it worked. They would continue to close my support tickets without my approval. I sent at least 5 different tickets. The last few they responded telling me to fill out the form to return it. Everytime I'd fill out the form it would block me because of the model number. I then sent a new ticket for this and they said they were sorry they couldn't help me. So now I have a new paperweight.
