Purchased this related to its size and capability when compared with items of similar description. It's still in the box. I've not even removed it. Haven't had time. works great. have no problems. all items (printers, ipods, mouse transmitter, camera interface) all work with no problems.
only problem i had, once, was i didn't realized i had to have the hub connected to the computer for the hub to charge the ipod, once i figured this out, i had no problems.

This thing is terrible! I don't know why but anything that I plugged into it broke! I lost 3 USB flash drives (One had all my college homework on it...grrrrrrrr). It broke 4 Xbox 360 plug-n-play rechargeable batteries and the plug-n-play cable itself (Grrrrrrrr....that stuff aint cheap). I'm very upset.Customer Review: Don't buy this hub.

I returned the first one to Amazon, after it failed, and just asked for a replacement. My assumption was that I just got a bad one. But, today, the second one has failed, this time I asked Amazon for a refund. I ordered a different hub this time. I think I will avoid Belkin products in the future.Customer Review: USB Hub

The hub works as expected. One time it failed to initialize after a reboot, but for the following 2 weeks it has worked flawlessly.
The external power supply allows me to charge my iPod and Blackbeery phone easily. It's the reason I bought this model over similarly priced competitors.
