I can't think of a Belkin product that has lasted more than a year. KVM, mouse, cables and now a USB hub; they all have ended up in the trash. This thing worked a couple of times with my laptop until I decided to use it on my desktop. After about 3 days, I now get the dreaded error 43. Tried a different cord, different USB plug and still nothing. Filed under T for trash.Customer Review: Excellent Hub. Bright though

There are not many mainstream quality >4 port hubs out there.
Pros:
- 7 hubs
- Excellent construction. Solid. Had it for ~2 yrs now.
- Compact
- Good brand
- Would outshine all other Christmas tree ornaments
Cons
- The lights are indeed bright.
- Taped and covered up, they're still glowing bright.

The Belkin Hi-Speed USB Hub works very well. Aesthetically, it is very nice. The only complaint I have is that the hubs are located somewhat close to one another, so two flash drives cannot be plugged in next to one another at the same time. However, smaller devices can be plugged in next to eachother (i.e., a keyboard plug next to a mouse plug).Customer Review: The best

After surfing the net for long hours i finally came across this belkin usb hub. The price was reasonable especially considering the fact that it have 7 usb ports. I am using this product for like over a month now and it has not failed me yet..If you're looking for a hub at a reasonable cost, you should consider this ....absolutely no regretsCustomer Review: Great for Backlighting

After reading the most common complaint about this USB hub, I realized it was the perfect solution to a problem of mine.
The way my computer sits under my desk, it gets very little light--which makes it difficult to work on connections in the back. With this hub sitting behind it, I never have to run and get a flashlight.
