Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Belkin F9H220-TVL Travel Surge Protector with Hidden Swivel PlugCustomer Review: Gets the job done Summary: 5 StarsIt works just like it's supposed to... It's not supper tiny, but then I've never seen a decent surge protector that was. I like the fact that the prongs fold up into the body so they don't kill anything in my backpack or laptop case. I also like that fact that it's a single unit without any extra cords. I have enough cables hanging off my laptop and one more to untangle & stuff in my bag would be one more too many...
I almost gave it four stars...then thought, "Why?" It does everything it's designed to do and fits everything I carry my laptop in...
Customer Review: Not for international travel Summary: 4 StarsDon't let the "220" part of the model number fool you: this is for North American 110/120 voltage only, NOT for the rest of the world's 220/240 voltage. Also, it doesn't protect both Ethernet and modem cables simultaneously, it will protect one or the other only.
Other than the aforementioned caveats, it's a handy gadget and worth carrying to protect your electronics when travelling within the US.
Customer Review: surge protector review Summary: 4 Starsversatile and well made. could be a little smaller but definitely worth the price.
Customer Review: There are better options Summary: 3 StarsI purchased this surge supressor because I wanted something light and compact to take with me in my travels to protect my laptop computer. It is not bad, but it is an old design and I found later other options from the same manufacturer and others that provide for the same protection and better portability with a better design at the same price or very close.
