Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Belkin F8N044-SLV CushTop Notebook Stand (Silver)Customer Review: Great Product!!! Summary: 4 Stars
Not only was this item cheaper than in most websites/stores. This item protects your posture and prevents your little guys from burning (if you're a guy). Anyway, it puts the user in a comfortable position for typing and viewing your screen. Make sure you don't overpay for any of these accessories because some of them aren't good and put a hole in your pocket.
Customer Review: Great, but what do you do with it when you aren't using it? Summary: 3 Stars
The product does exactly what it is intended for, so if that is your only concern, buy it now! I however live in an apartment and find that this relatively huge laptop stand takes up a lot of space and is hard to find a convenient place (aka, near the bed) to store it. If you are looking for a condensed solution to over heating laptops, then this is not for you.
Customer Review: Just what I needed Summary: 5 Stars
Because of a bad back, I often have to use my laptop while sitting in bed. The Belkin Cushtop makes that a much more pleasant experience than it used to be. The Cushtop holds the computer steady so that it doesn't slide off and it keeps the heat from burning my legs. It has a firm, solid feel and is not really "cushy," which is a good thing. Highly recommended!
Customer Review: Keeps your lap cool, not so much the laptop. Summary: 3 Stars
It is a decent product, but the claim that it's foam allows the laptop to breath is a bit of a stretch.
While my computer sits on it the CPU temperature goes up, if I hang the corner where the fan is over the edge it drops by 10% in a minute or two.
Had they made it with holes through the foam I think it would have been 4 or 5 stars.
Customer Review: laptop slides off! Summary: 1 Stars
I really tried to use this for a day or two but my laptop (macbook pro) kept sliding off and pushing into my stomach. Since I type all day my wrists couldn't take the discomfort of being too close to my body. Maybe not so for all laptops but the picture you see with it sitting on a flat surface would mean a macbook pro sliding off completely.
