This product arrived quickly and safely. Product description on Amazon said it worked for Vista, however the packaging material said it did not. Absolutely a life saver. Installed itself (I use XP Professional) and automatically disabled my malfunctioning either-net adapter, on my motherboard.
Works like a charm. Please insure that you have USB 2.0, although it works on USB 1.0, it will be slower.

I used the Belkin F5D5050 Networking USB to Ethernet Adaptor to connect my TiVo directly to my high speed internet, bypassing a phone line altogether. I tried other cables, including a TiVo brand one, but nothing worked with the tivo shipped OS, except the Belkin.Customer Review: Nice!

I needed a quick connection to my Toshiba laptop when I did not want to use the built in WiFI, so I purchased the Belkin F5D5050 USB to Ethernet Adaptor, and it worked perfectly as was intended, and I would recommend it to anyone that needed such a device.
