When I bought a new printer for the computer I use, I needed a USB cable to connect the printer to the hard drive. I ended up purchasing this USB cable from Belkin. It works great and I've never had any problems with it. Even though the cable is a 2.0 device, it is apparently backwards compatible and will work with most 1.0 devices, too.Customer Review: Please don't buy cables from the computer store!

A simple cable like this Belkin will run you about $37 or usually more at computer stores. It's crazy. They tried to sell me one, and you do need one to connect with your computer, but you don't need to pay this outrageous amount. I guess that's where their profit comes in. I have been using this cable with my Samsung Laster printer for over 2 years now and couldn't be happier with the no problem performance.Its long enough to be used as a printer cable (which is important) and it works. What more can you ask for from a usb cable?
Much nicer setup than the bulky parallel port setup.

i received this USB cable a few week ago, and it works very well.
not only the price is very acceptable, but also the design is good. it's long enough so that i don't have to put my laptop very close to the printer. and it's still working perfectly!

I recently went to circuit city to buy a printer (good deal after rebates), and you can imagine my surprise when I found out the USB cable was more expensive than the printer!!! Thank goodness I decided to look on amazon.com before I bought it. I saved so much money for the EXACT same product! Thanks amazon.com!!!
