I love this charger, I bought it to use with my iPhone 3Gs and it has been working great since the day I got it. It is a bit big in terms of style, but in my car it plugs in out of site, and all u can see is the wire, so the size doesn't bother me all that much, I have been using it everyday for almost a month now and love it, it is definitely worth buying. To have both your IPhone & IPod charging at the same time while driving cross country is a dream!
Having the USB ports on the side of the plug is perfect. I have a Beetle and my regular IPod charger has a holder attached; however, the outlet on the console is under the dash; making it too low to accept the charger/holder. The Belkin doesn't have the holder attached, so it can be plugged in easily . . . and charge my phone at the same time.

getting a good charger for the new iphone 3g can be a challenge as many of the chargers simply do not work when you plug them in. the belkin is an exception and it does the job. i would have given it five stars but the cable is really stiff and it makes it a bit awkward in the car. if you substitute the original charger/sync cable it works for me as a better combination. this looks and feels like a quality product and a good investment for your iphone.Customer Review: Good Product just one thing

the overall product is as described but the only thing was the time in shipping i didn't see anywhere on the seller page where they were based or where it was coming from. Only until i placed the order did i see it was coming from MN USA. Live in NY i ordered it on a Friday it got to me the following Thursday one day short of a week to others this might be good. but this is not really any kind of compliant just letting other know whats up.

I rented a Dodge Caliber to drive from Fl to VA and I needed a usb charger to use my 120GB Ipod and my Tom Tom 720 at the same time. This little gadget made my trip very enjoyable. This charger kept my Ipod and GPS connected for HOURS without a single problem. I connected the audio jack from the Ipod to the radio aux and BINGO! great music to my ears!!
Sorry to hear about the Audi guy, but no problems at all in my car.
